There are many stores that offer you an opportunity to earn money for a school by simply shopping there.

Harris Teeter Together In Education - All you have to do is link your VIC card with East Garner Elementary and purchase store brand items. The school will receive 10% of the purchase price. Click the link above to get started.

Kroger Plus Card For Education - Kroger is offering a pool of $300,000 to be split by all the school registered for 2015-16. Just link your card to East Garner Elementary and then use it each time you shop. Based on the use and activity of the card holders, we will get a percentage of the entire pot.

ShopRite For My School - ShopRite allows customers to use their card to earn eBox Tops. eBox Tops work just like the program mentioned above. The difference is these are credited immediately to our school's account. Just link it to East Garner Elementary and go shopping.

*Coming Soon* Schoolstore.com is an easy and fun way for us to try something new at East Garner. Everything is done with just doing things that we do all the time, which is shop online for things at we use in our home. When an item is purchased through schoolstore.com, EGES receives a percentage of the amount spend. Just remember to use our code!

BOX TOPS FOR EDUCATION

Help support East Garner Elementary by clipping Box Tops and sending them into the school. Box Tops can be found on hundreds of items. For more information on the program, check it out at BT4E.

Each box top is worth .10 for the school. The money raised go towards funding programs that supports the initiatives of the school. Our goal is to raise $1,000 this school year via this program.

Box Tops can be mailed to the school in care of the PTA or sent to school via your child. Remember to label the envelope, bag or paper with your child's name and homeroom teacher so that your child will receive credit!

LABELS FOR EDUCATION

Another program we are proud to participate is Labels For Education. Labels can be found on products such as Campbell's Soups, Pepperidge Farms and Prego. Labels can be worth 1 point, 5 points or 10 points. For more information on the program, check it out at L4E.

With no expiration date, points can be compiled throughout the year and accumulated for however long they are needed to redeem towards various items. Items include P.E. equipment, computer programs and educational tools.

Labels can be sent to the school in the same manner as the Box Tops.

SNIFTY PENCILS

We have made a new addition to the PTA Explorer School Store. For only $1 each, we are offering Snifty pencils. The Snifty pencils come in 10 scents:

Blueberry, Bubble Gum, Cherry, Cotton Candy, Fruit Punch, Glazed Donut, Grape, Pineapple, Strawberry, Watermelon

Each pencil comes in its own acrylic holder. Unlike other products, the scented area is not the pencil itself. It is a long topper that can be removed and placed on other pencils. This means it will not jam up a pencil sharpener. There are a few on display with the Spiritwear t-shirts.

If you would like to purchase any pencils, you may do so by sending a sealed envelope with your scent request and payment with your full name and phone number.
